Do you know how it feels to have such a capacity for love and never have someone appreciate or return anything close to those feelings for you. I feel like I'm dying inside. The pain is so unbearable. I honestly can't take it anymore. It hurts so much to be able to feel so strongly. I want to know how it feels to be loved and I don't mean by family and friends, I've had that or atleast I think I have but I want to feel honest to god my world will end without you love. I don't care about sex(not saying that I won't have sex given the opporunity), playing games, messing around. I truly, deeply, wholeheartedly would take the chance to be in love over all of that. I'm jsut ready to give my heart away and recieve one in return. I don't cheat, I try not to lie, I care, I appreciate. Why can't I find love... My greatest strength is my greatest weakness.

Supposedly, "nice guys" spend a lot of time in the "friend zone."


I'm getting really tired of girls saying "There are no nice guys anymore", or "Why can't I find a nice guy", or any variant of such comments. Sorry to burst your bubble ladies but there are a whole lot of nice guys out there. Nice guys are not mythical like unicorns ladies. They are not all taken, or all gay, or all creepy. Most true nice guys are who they appear to be and don't turn into someone else once. The problem is most girls say they want a nice guy but aren't really attracted to the nice guy mentality or as the article says find nice guys sexually appealing. What they do find sexually appealing is the bad boys or the "jerks" because they view that as a sign of strength. Trust it is nothing but a false sense of strength. Some of these guys turn out to be abusers, harassers, or just plain immature. What I see girls do is they get involved with these guys who don't treat them fairly and expect more than they can give out of them, try and make them into the nice guy they've been supposedly looking for. You want to know why girls can't seem to find a decent man because once again as the article says they make these guys as friends to be they're cushion while they go on their quest and fail. Come on a nice guy is there for you, comforts you, makes you laugh, understands you, that's the kind of thing girls want to last forever and what do you feel lasts forever.....That's right a friendship. Because these guys make girls feel so good they want to hold on to that feeling for as long as possible and not risk the chance of losing it. Friendships do tend to last longer than relationships and why take the chance of risking the loss? I have a challenge for you girls. I challenge you to give one of your best friends a chance or at least entertain the idea of making them more then a friend. Think about how it feels to be around that, how they make you feel as a person. Where do you see things possibly going between the two of you if you do (realistically)? Weigh out the risks to the reward. Then tell me whether or not it was worth it. You know they say the best relationships start out as friendships but come on you have to be the one willing to take that leap forward or else you're just stuck wondering wear all the nice guys are. For you ladies who don't have a lot of guy friends or any that you're close to I challenge you to open your eyes or your options and give a chance to someone you normally wouldn't. You never know a lot of these guys will surprise you and make you happier then you thought you could ever be.
